Both have similar tool sets, but the Pro Tech has a much larger bit selection, more tool types (and multiples of a few), and the Mako Driver Set is detachable. It comes down to how often you will be doing repairs and on what devices: If you are planning on doing a few repairs every so often like replacing broken phone screens for friends, doing some maintenance on your tablet, or cracking open a game console, the EET is a good choice. If you foresee yourself using your kit every week (or more) for a wider range of devices or repairs, the Pro Tech is the way to go.

The EET has 16 4mm hex bits to help with a wide range of fixes, and has a variety of drive types, including Phillips, Flathead, Torx, and Pentalobe, among others. You can find a list of each drive type and size here.
