Pro Tech Toolkit

The Pro Tech was engineered to include the tools you need for most consumer electronics repairs. Using our years of experience fixing computers, tablets, phones, PCs, consoles (and even that old crusty Game Boy you left at your parent’s house), we’ve identified (and invented) the most useful tools for getting your devices back in working order. The Pro Tech includes our Mako 64-Bit Driver Set and all of the tools you’ll use most often, nested inside a secure foam-lined case and convenient fabric roll. The Pro Tech is super portable and comprehensive, meaning that no matter where your repairs take you, you’ll be prepared!

Both have similar tool sets, but the Pro Tech has a much larger bit selection, more tool types (and multiples of a few), and the Mako Driver Set is detachable. The Essential Electronics Toolkit has everything you need for basic computer, phone, and tablet repairs in one compact case.
It comes down to how often you will be doing repairs and on what devices: If you are planning on doing a few repairs every so often like replacing broken phone screens for friends, doing some maintenance on your tablet, or cracking open a game console, the EET is a good choice. If you foresee yourself using your kit every week (or more) for a wider range of devices or repairs, the Pro Tech is the way to go.

While we don’t simply offer a Pro Tech without the Mako, there are a few options for you!
First, our Pro Tech Disassembly Module comes with most of the tools in our classic Pro Tech plus a few extras, like the Anti-Clamp for easy screen removal, and the FixMat for organizing small parts and tools during projects.
Another option is the iOpener Toolkit, which includes our iOpener heating pack to loosen pesky adhesives, and popular opening tools like spudgers, an extra driver, and plastic playing cards.
If you don’t need that many tools, our Prying and Opening Tool Assortment is a great addition to any driver kit, and can help with a wide range of repairs.
To summarize, our Pro Tech Disassembly Module comes with all of our premium opening tools and will be the most comprehensive. The iOpener Toolkit will help with removing screens or batteries for most phones and laptops. And the Prying and Opening Tool Assortment is a great budget option if you just need some tools for basic repairs to add to your driver kit!
